DBT CREST AWARD FOR STEM CELL BIOLOGY AND REGENERATIVE MEDICINE: 2011-12

DEPARTMENT OF BIOTECHNOLOGY (DBT) MINISTRY OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY GOVERNMENT OF INDIA

Department of Biotechnology invites application for the DBT Cutting-Edge Research Enhancement and Scientific Training (CREST) Award. DBT CREST AWARD aims to promote capacity building in cutting edge areas of biotechnology and life sciences. The Award will promote and support scientists/clinicians of highest merit in their pursuit of skill enhancement in scientific research/training in overseas laboratories. Applications are invited from Indian nationals working in the area of stem cell biology and regenerative medicine for the award of CREST (2011-2012) for conducting research in the best laboratories around the world on various aspects of stem cells and regenerative medicine. Applicants should hold regular/permanent positions in Government recognized research and academic institutions/universities. They should be interested in stem cell research, developmental biology, regenerative medicine or related R&D and educational activities and their institutions should be engaged in programs on stem cell and regenerative medicine. 

Last date for receiving applications is December 31, 2011
